A Project Chick

Black women get categorized and stereotyped and labeled and so on. Most of the time its negative but take it all in stride and keep on grinding. Despite the negative connotation of the term Project Chick, these are the sisters that are becoming the new "IT GIRLS." The actual definition of project is:

A Suburban Ghetto Chick. Basically another BAP but just a little more hood than bougie. Just like the character Erin, Lauren London played in the movie ATL.

The Trap Queen. The most beautiful woman in the hood. A top notch who beez in the trap.

The girl next door. Because she doesn't fit into any category, she becomes a covert operator and eventually a leader and inspiration to all women in the other categories. Our favorite of course Gabrielle Union! I will reference Outkast's song "Slum Beautiful." Just don't get caught up in the melancholy.
