We love watching Ayesha cook because she makes being in the kitchen classy and glamourous. Covergirl Cosmetics chose the right spokesperson because Ayesha is the cover girl of the publication Sweet July. By the way, it's almost July!

What makes this magazine worth the newsstand price are the recipes. You must be the queen of your kitchen. The recipes that I post on this blog are simple but delicious. You have to start out cooking simple dishes so you can get a feel for working with the temperatures and handling the pots and pans. Once you get comfortable making easy dishes, then go for a challenge and that's what some of Ayesha's recipes are. Not all of them are super hard. But I'm positive all her recipes are delicious. I say, her magazine is a collector's item and when you want to really cook something high-end, her recipes deliver and you will still be within the perimeters of the TRAP.

Let's not forget about her cookbook "The Full Plate". This cookbook is written by a black woman. However, it doesn't cater to the psychological needs or cooking habits of the black female. It's more of a clinical approach with the kitchen being the clinic, of course. Was it a cookbook I had to have in my collection? Absolutely.

Let's watch Ayesha cook a pasta recipe from her cook. This recipe is simple. You know, it's something about cooking pasta that's just satisfying.

One more piece of advice... If you bought a cookbook with one of your favorite celebrities on the cover, take time to sit down and look at the pictures and read every recipe in the book. For me, its therapeutic.
