Chris Brown just dropped a love song to carry us through the summer. "WE (Warm Embrace)" is feel good music that you will put on repeat. He has matured as a singer and this song will be appreciated by the "grown and sexy" crowd. Singing like this makes Chris Brown a big deal. Normani got to play the starring role in the video, which is a warm and fuzzy escape from the grind of life. (actually, it's sizzling HOTT!)
What we want from this video is a metallic dress to shine under the moonlight. Silver is without a doubt is sexy. A pleated jersey dress like the one below is perfect for a summer outing. Worn with a good nude lipstick of course.
Okay, so what's illustrated in the picture below are three nude lipstick colors. These colors are the perfect nudes for black women's skin in light, medium and dark respectively. My personal testimony is that, as a chocolate sister, when I tried on the dark nude, Spicy Chestnut, I don't know what kept me from fainting. It's a perfect nude for dark chocolate complexions. What makes it perfect is that it looks expensive in addition to being the right shade.
I also tried on the medium nude, Peach Delight. It was just a little too light. However, the pigmentation was still beautiful and on someone with a lighter complexion in the middle, they may faint.
I haven't tried the lighter nude, Soft Coral, but I just believe, it's worth the money to try. Well worth the money. $17.50. www.aularale.com

I just can't believe that the Pioneer Woman's slow cooker only costs $29.99. If you trappin', you know the drill ... get one! A lot people believe they can only make slop in a slow cooker. Not the one by the Pioneer Woman. Her's are to be used to the maximum potential.
This PDF download contains wonderful crockpot chicken recipes including dishes from celebrity chef's Ayesha Curry and Carla Hall.

4-5 chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
1 large onion, peeled and diced
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1 green bell pepper, seeds and ribs removed, and diced
2 celery ribs, rinsed, trimmed, and sliced
½ cup orange juice
½ cup white wine
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 tsp Italian seasoning
½ cup pitted oil-cured black olives
½ cup chicken stock (can be made with a chicken bouillon cube)
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all of the above ingredients in a slower cooker. Cook on low for 6-7 hours, or on high for 3 hours.
Serve over rice pilaf and with Texas Toast.
Speaking of summer love and underwater dreams ...
