When you finally do decide to wear your real hair after taking supreme care of it. Your hairstyle can affect how people perceive you. Sometimes, you don't want to be confused with someone who "isnt" trappin'....or whatever. Wearing your real hair can make you seem more conservative than you need to be.........blah blah blah

The point is, this season, hair bling is in. Light up a press n curl or a pony tail with diamond bobby pins. If you are trappin' in the south, definitely go for pearl barrettes like these here from target. Southern belles, the TRAP is coming for you!

Mocha Mane is a black owned company that makes blinged out bobby pins. They create clips for the culture. This style will definitely hit the streets this summer.

Growing your real hair out is the newest trend, new years resolution and personal project for black hair. All respect to celebrity actress Nia Long for taking perfect care of her hair. Her new length is an inspiration for us to be dedicated and disciplined.

Speaking of celebrity status, Miss U.S.A. Kenya Moore has a stellar line of hair products on the market. I've heard nothing but good reviews about these. I personally have used the Moore Edges, and this product did grow my edges. These products are also available at Sally Beauty.
