The Maybach Empire always keeps that trap music in rotation. Just like any other genre of music, trap music is the soundtrack of real life. Videos [hip/hop] are the fantasies that feed real life and give us insight and inspiration as to what trap life is all about. Two videos in particular represent what trapping successfully from A-Z; A- being Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" video and Z- being Rick Ross' video "Gheechi Liberace."
For me personally, "Gheechi Liberace" is an hip/hop archetype. This video represents the sum total of what hip/hop has been striving for from the beginning. Before this scene, we see the bleakness of low income housing, the desperation of the stripper game, and a gang mindset. After the woods scene, things shift to an upscale high-rise, complete with a fluffy white robe, an inground pool and slick New York rapper Drake.
So the question is, what are really striving for? My personal answer to that question, is "Even better music." If the lifestyle improves, then so should the music...
