It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it! This season, vintage clothes are in. That equates to lace and denim. Lace and denim has that vintage appeal like a Lana Del Rey YouTube video. The question is, how does that translate hood?

For me, maybe it's conceptual, but black women do black lace. Pair it with some bling and the right purse for the evening, and "BRING IT ON!"

DIRTY RICE

This dirty rice recipe is WORTH TRYING. If you don't have anything to eat now. Go and grab that $ 10 and make this. Its easy, delicious and satisfying. Add some cornbread with it, and you've got a MEAL!

DIRECTIONS:

1. In a medium sized saucepan, cook one 8 oz box of Jambalaya rice mix according to instructions on box.

2. While rice is simmering, cook 1lb of ground beef in a large skillet. No need to add salt, the rice is very salty already.

3. When the rice is finished, transfer it to the large skillet and mix it in with the beef.

4. Add the 14.5oz can of corned beef Hash to the skillet with the beef and rice. Turn heat to medium. Mix well until throughly warmed.
