When the Trap House is a Farmhouse!

So, I was in Hobby Lobby yesterday and all their farmhouse decor was on sale. It came up in my mind about black women and the farmhouse. Being from the varsity driven Midwest, everything in my home had to be preppy and flashy. However, when I think about movies like the "Daughters of the Dust" and what that means to a Trap Queen in the south, the farmhouse decor became intriguing.

Walking through the isles of Hobby Lobby, the possibilities seemed endless. I know there are women who know can decorate with these items spiritually. For me it was and challenge in my artistic mind. I liked the concept of decorating a room in farmhouse style for arts sake.

It just seems like a southern love story which always includes manipulation. These women need things around them, and these things need to be understood. The question is, can you trap in a farmhouse? Who you gone listen to? Trina without a doubt.

The Pioneer Woman is one of my spiritual mothers and if you are trapping in a farmhouse, all you need for your kitchen in her stuff. She made life very easy with this. Everyone will be impressed!

I love street gear. But there are women who are resentful that they have to wear a hoodie and large chain to be seen as cool. There other things that are sexy. But can you hang? Will you blow trees? The landscape is different and a question to both sides is, "can you relate? Can pearls really replace bling?
