This easy award winning version of a hummingbird cake will definitely impress!
Hummingbird cake is a banana-pineapple spice cake originating in Jamaica and a popular dessert in the southern United States since the 1970s.

Directions:

Empty one box of banana box cake mix in a large mixing bowl.

Add the box of dry banana pudding to the cake mix.

Add 1 measured cup of thawed out pineapple concentrate. (use concentrate not juice)(if you can't find the concentrate, you can put a cup of canned pineapples in the blender until smooth)

Add 1/3 cup of oil.

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Add 1/2 cup of rum.

Add 4 eggs/

Add one stick of melted butter.

Mix all ingredients together until nice and smooth.

Cook according to the instructions on the box.

Let the cake cook to room temperature ice the cake with cream cheese frosting and garnish with chopped walnuts.

Make any box mix cake better by adding a box of dry pudding mix. Also, substitute 1 cup of milk for the water. Finally add an extra egg and one stick of melted butter
