This page is not about sweet potato pie, it's about a sweet potato smoothie. It's important to have some kind of diet plan to maintain a healthy weight. It's a good idea to take a multi-vitamin. SWEET POTATO SMOOTHIE
1/2 cup Almased
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/5 cup steamed sweet potato cubes
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 banana
6-8 ice cubes

Directions:

1. Wash sweet potato. Pat dry, pierce with fork about 3-4 times. Wrap potato in a damp paper towel and place potato on a microwave safe plate. Microwave for 5 minutes. If the potato is not yet fork tender, keep microwaving for 30 seconds until tender. Cut sweet potato in half. Spoon out the sweet potato from the skin.

2. Add sweet potato and all ingredients to a blender. Blend for 15-30 seconds or until smooth.
