A Conversation About Hair

Let's have a conversation with Alexis Kimberly about hair. Hair has always been the substratum of a black woman's identity. Everyone has their own unique head of hair. Alexis' hair is looking good. Whatever she's doing, its worth it. Evidently Organic Root Stimulator agrees because they found her on social media and now she's a model on their relaxer box.

Alexis has a head of hair worth talking about. Black hair is about freedom because no matter how you choose to wear your hair, natural or processed, it's high-maintenance. The key is to choose what's right for you. For too many years, black hair has been seen as a reproach and an abomination. However, a healthier outlook is to see afro-textured hair as a project. Finding out what oils actually make your hair flourish is part of self discovery.

Conversations about hair are important because we can share tips and products that may or may not work. One tip you will get from listening to Alexis talk about her hair is that she uses a pre shampoo bonding treatment before every shampoo. This is a good tip for relaxed and higher porosity hair (maybe). The brand she uses is Olaplex # 3 $30.

If you want successfully gorgeous hair like Alexis' then some of tips she gives are worth trying. Whether or not it works for you, only your hair can tell. People who make their hair part of their identity from an inward reflection, radiate positivity in other areas of their lives. For example, I personally like to wash my hair in the kitchen, not the shower. Because so, the kitchen has to become wholistic, catering to hair as a salon and the feeding and nurturing of the household.
