Music is the only way to deal with the summer heat. This is a year to fast forward and keep up with who's new. Hip hop is now 50 years old so that means we all can listen to it. So this year, put Howard grad rapper Lady London on your playlist. Her new album S.O.U.L. is just as refreshing as a Long Island Iced Tea.

The songstress SZA is another relatively new artist that made good music for this summer. What I mean by good music is that her better album S. O. S. is the perfect soundtrack for ice cream cones and sunsets on the beach.
